For the past eight years, the Helena Symphony has raffled off a trip that is not only a vacation, but a trip that brings the experience of the arts to the winner. This year the trip includes a vacation to Seattle and Victoria, British Columbia.
The expense-paid trip for two includes flying to Seattle. After spending a day and evening in Seattle, the winners will take a ferry ride to beautiful British Columbia for two evenings in the world-class Empress Hotel, and then take a return flight from Victoria back to Helena. In addition, the winner receives $500 in spending money for the trip. Lastly, the winner choses a performance of either the nationally-renowned Seattle Symphony or the Seattle Opera Company. The trip can be scheduled for a time that accommodates the winner’s schedule, or the winner can exchange the trip for a $3,000 cash prize.
“Symphony in the City continues to be a great way to celebrate music and support the Helena Symphony,” explains Symphony President Barb Howe. “Each season, the Symphony chooses a destination that offers a wonderful getaway to experience the arts, food, shopping, and luxury accommodations of a great city.”
Chances to win the two-city trip to Seattle and British Columbia are very good as only a limited number of tickets are sold. Tickets are on sale now, and are available for $50 each, or three for $125. Tickets can be purchased at the Symphony Office or through members of the Symphony Board of Directors.
